Things here at Bluegrass Publishing have been moving so fast, we all have been so busy. I have not had any extra time to devote to projects lately, but I have so many ideas floating around in my head I will start updating the blog soon.
Christmas will be here before we even know it, and I don't know about you, but I am still trying to get my Christmas Card Layout just right. Not only do I have to make my own, but, I will be helping my mom make hers for the very first time. Usually I make hers along with mine, however, I decided that she is fully capable of making her own cards. She is a crafty lady.
One thing to remember when making your cards, they don't have to be very difficult. They can be a very simple card with a handwritten message on the inside. Remember that most of the people that you will be sending these cards to will not have any idea how many hours you put into each card. It's the thought that counts.
Another idea when thinking about your Christmas Cards, I know that I have a hard time choosing the colors to use on my cards. Misti Tracey's book, "Color Made Easy" has a color buddy tool in the back of her book. I use that tool all of the time now. I make sure I have mine in my purse everytime I go to a crop, store, or anywhere they may have any scrapbooking/card making supplies. This has helped me tremendously when choosing colors.
I would love for any of you who read the blog post comments. I am always welcome to ideas about future projects, or perhaps answering a question.
Have a blessed day!
Check back often for more project ideas!!!
